2/28 合同オープンハウス例会レポート（新潟×大宮）英語セッション

先週に続いて、オープンハウスの後半部分、英語セッションをご報告します（英→日）

OpeningAfter the break, the English session began, led by the Niigata Toastmasters Club. The Toastmaster of the Day welcomed members and guests, explained the flow of the English segment, and the Timer introduced the English timing rules.
Prepared SpeechThe session started with a prepared speech about Reiki, a Japanese-origin practice that has become well-known in Western countries. The speaker briefly explained what Reiki is, how she first encountered it, and how she uses it in her daily life.
EvaluationsTwo evaluators provided feedback on the prepared speech. They praised the clear structure, calm delivery, and beginner-friendly explanation.
The final part of the English session was English Table Topics. The Table Topics Master from the Niigata club introduced several impromptu questions in English, and multiple participants delivered short speeches of one to two minutes.
ClosingAfter Table Topics, control of the meeting was handed back to the Omiya Toastmasters Club, marking the end of the English portion of the joint meeting.

オープニング休憩後、Niigata Toastmasters Club が英語パートをリードする形で再開しました。Toastmaster of the Day がゲストと参加者を歓迎し、英語セッションの進行を説明しました。タイマーからは英語のタイミングルールが紹介されました。
英語準備スピーチ最初のプログラムは Reiki（レイキ）に関する準備スピーチでした。日本発祥でありながら海外で広く知られている文化として、Reiki とは何か、どのように知ったのか、どのように日常で使っているのかが簡潔に紹介されました。
論評続いて2名の論評者がスピーチへのフィードバックを行いました。構成のわかりやすさ、落ち着いた語り口、初めて聞く人にも理解しやすい説明が高く評価されました。
英語テーブルトピックス英語パートの最後は English Table Topics でした。新潟クラブの Table Topics Master が英語で出題し、複数名の参加者が1〜2分の即興スピーチに挑戦しました。（具体的なお題は transcript に含まれていないため、進行のみの記述としています。）
クロージングTable Topics が終了した後、司会の進行権が Omiya Toastmasters Club に戻され、合同例会の英語セクションが締めくくられました。

次回は通常例会です。
